Intel Ivy Bridge - the official debut of the new processors

                    Intel officially unveiled its latest chips, manufactured in 22 nanometer technology. The first wave consists of thirteen new processors.
 
                       Code-named Ivy Bridge lies a new generation of Intel processors - produced during the 22-nanometer process chips Core i3, i5 and Core i7. First, the market will go thirteen-performance systems with quad-core i5 and i7 line, which will be aimed at desktops and larger laptops. A more low-end unit with i3 and i5 series, including low-voltage models, will be used for ultrabooków and notebook, but it hit the market in late spring.
 

                        According to the manufacturer, the new generation of processors, as compared with the Sandy Bridge, produced a 32-nanometer technology, can offer up to 20 percent higher performance, while reducing the power consumption by 20 percent. Ivy Bridge, the first Intel platform, by default, supports USB 3.0.

 

                       One of the biggest advantages of the new systems are to be new, integrated graphics processors - Intel HD 2500 and HD 4000. The second is to be so effective that it has to bear in 4K resolution video, and even the latest games at low detail.


 

                         The new processors Intel Ivy Bridge should already begin to appear in the latest computers.
