The new quad-core processors is slowly entering the smartphone market, today we have a modelof Huawei, HTC, and probably soon from Samsung.
ARM Cortex-A15 manufactured in 28nm process technology will be more likely in devices late this year or early next.
The new processor will be implemented at least on a few chips: Tegra 4; Exynos 5250, Nova A9600. Same chip has good specs, clock from 1 to 2.5 GHz per core, the memory of at 64kB L1 per core and 4MB L2 to the cluster. Number of cores and their combination is also surprising. From 1-4 in the cluster cores and the chip will be room for one or two clusters which can give us a total of 8 smartphones core clocked at 2.5 GHz (sic) is better than my computer.
